WhereTo provides an AI-powered relocation assistance platform that helps users find suitable locations based on their preferences. The Service includes search functionality, location dossiers, and may connect users with real estate professionals.
3. Eligibility and User Accounts
Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a user under 18, we will delete that information promptly.
Account Responsibilities: To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating an account and to update this information to keep it accurate.
4. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service
- Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Service without permission

6. Data and AI Disclaimers
The Service uses AI technology and publicly available data sources. You acknowledge that:
- Information provided may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate
- AI-generated content should not be solely relied upon for major decisions
- You should independently verify all information with local sources
- We do not guarantee the accuracy of any data or recommendations
7. Third-Party Services
The Service may connect you with third-party real estate professionals and service providers. We do not endorse, guarantee, or assume responsibility for any third-party services. Your interactions with third parties are solely between you and them.
8. Payment Terms and Refund Policy
Some features of the Service require payment. All payments are processed securely through Stripe, our payment provider. Current pricing is displayed at the time of purchase.
Refund Policy:
- Location Dossiers: Digital products are non-refundable once delivered. If you experience technical issues preventing access, contact us within 7 days for assistance or a replacement.
- Subscription Services: If we offer subscription services in the future, cancellation and refund terms will be provided at sign-up.
To request a refund or report a billing issue, contact support@whereto.live within 7 days of your purchase.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, WhereTo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless WhereTo and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
11. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms on the Service. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
12. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
13. Dispute Resolution
Informal Resolution: Before initiating any formal dispute resolution, you agree to contact us at legal@whereto.live to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will attempt to resolve disputes within 30 days.
Binding Arbitration: If informal resolution fails, any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. Arbitration will be conducted in English, and the arbitrator's decision will be final and binding.
Class Action Waiver: You agree to resolve disputes with us on an individual basis only. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
Exceptions: Either party may bring an individual action in small claims court for disputes within the court's jurisdiction. Nothing in this section prevents you from bringing issues to the attention of federal, state, or local agencies.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any arbitration under these Terms will take place in Delaware unless you and we agree otherwise.
15. Accessibility
WhereTo is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards.
