4. Sale and Sharing of Personal Information
We do not currently sell your personal information. All location dossiers are available for purchase, and we do not share your information with third-party lead networks or real estate professionals in exchange for monetary compensation.
Future Data Sharing: In the future, we may offer the option to receive free or discounted services in exchange for sharing your information with real estate professionals and moving companies. If we implement such a program, it will be entirely opt-in and clearly disclosed at the time of consent. You will always have the option to pay for services without sharing data.

5. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for specific periods based on the type of data and purpose:
- Account information: Retained while your account is active, plus 3 years after account closure
- Lead data: Retained for 7 years for legal and compliance purposes
- Search and usage data: Retained for 2 years, then anonymized
- Payment records: Retained for 7 years as required by tax law
- Privacy request records: Retained for 24 months as required by CCPA/CPRA
You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Your Rights section below), subject to legal retention requirements.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including encryption, secure servers, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

Global Privacy Control (GPC): We honor Global Privacy Control signals. When we detect a GPC signal from your browser, we automatically treat it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information.
Financial Incentive Disclosure: We do not currently operate a financial incentive program that involves the sale or sharing of personal information. All services are available for direct purchase. If we implement such a program in the future, we will update this disclosure accordingly and obtain your explicit consent before any data sharing.
Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah
Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and Utah have similar rights including the right to access, correct, delete, and opt out of targeted advertising and the sale of personal data.

Nevada residents may opt out of the sale of certain personal information by contacting us at privacy@whereto.live.
